MiniMax-M2-BF16 (locally converted from FP8)
This repository contains a BF16-converted checkpoint from MiniMaxAI/MiniMax-M2.
Conversion
The conversion script is included in this repo:
Method (high level):
- Load FP8 tensors from safetensors shards.
- Dequantize each FP8 tensor with its corresponding
*_scale_inv tensor.
- Save dequantized weights in BF16 format.
- Remove
*_scale_inv entries from model.safetensors.index.json.
Notes
- This is a conversion artifact for quantization workflow validation.
- Please review and follow the original license terms before redistribution or commercial use.
- Commercial products/services using this software or derivatives must prominently display
MiniMax M2.1 in the UI, per the original license text below.
