Ai2 Climate Emulator (ACE) is a family of models designed to simulate
atmospheric variability from the time scale of days to centuries.
SamudrACE-E3SMv3 is a stochastic coupled atmosphere–ocean emulator of
E3SMv3 with preindustrial control forcing conditions, as described in Stochastic Emulation of a Fully Coupled Preindustrial E3SMv3 Simulation.
This model is licensed under Apache 2.0. It is intended for research and
educational use in accordance with Ai2’s
Responsible Use Guidelines.
This model is trained on outputs generated from the Energy Exascale Earth System Model (E3SM) provided by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). This model was trained and evaluated using the Perlmutter system operated by the National Energy Research Scientific Computing Center (NERSC), a DOE Office of Science User Facility, located at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.
