Windows 11 x64 compatible. A minimum Intel I7 CPU processor, 16GB of RAM, and a minimum of 8 GB of disk space.
These minimums are for using the smallest models.
Warning- larger models require more RAM and disk space. Please use proper judgement. If you have 8+ CPU cores, 32GB of RAM, and ample
disk space, You may presumably download and use any of the models on the list.
It is not recommended to do intensive AI inference or workloads on any device without proper and sufficient cooling.
On battery powered devices, you should not use AI while charging the battery.
You should give space between inputs to allow hardware to cool between inference and monitor the device while using the AI.
How to use Diget Lite:
Download the installer.
-Install the application. This software is not signed by a trusted CA like DigiCert. Windows smart screen will flag you with a warning

You have the correct application.
-The installer will walk through the agreements. The app is free to use.
-When the app finishes setting up the app will open ready to use.

Do not fit on your hardware. The models I listed in the app are all trusted, licensed, and from reliable providers.
Using Diget -
connect to the internet to download a model.
select the model from the drop down.
click download
the diget chat window will tell you if downloading and when the download is complete.
when the download has completed, there will be a check mark on the left side of the model indicating you have this model.
-(if you are click happy, single clicks do the job, have some patience or you may accidentally download more models than you asked for)
give diget a name
put your name
give the ai a prompt - "you are a pirate from space"
-different models will produce different behaviours or results depending on safeties model providers trained into their models.
use the sliders to adjust how the model will respond.
click load model.
after the model is loaded, you may chat with the model per usual.
click unload to unload.
click the guide/help button for further details on using the app.
