Model Description

This is a breast object detection model trained with the YOLOv5m model of YOLOv5 on the RSNA Breast Cancer Detection dataset.
The model is designed to detect and localize suspicious regions in mammography images.

Dataset and Annotations

The training data (data.zip) contains two folders:

images: mammography images
labels: corresponding annotation files

Usage

training

python train.py --img 1024 --batch 8 --epochs 200 --data "./data/data.yaml" --cfg "./models/yolov5m.yaml" --weights yolov5m.pt --name destination_folder

inference

python detect.py --weights "breast_object_detection_yolov5m.pt " --img 1024 --source "C:/Users/Administrator/Desktop/images" --save-txt --save-crop

Annotations were created using the LabelImg (v1.8.1) tool.
